WHERE TO KAYAK AND SUP - Inland Locations

While my SUP and Kayak book is about paddling the California coast, I am adding some inland locations.

This is still a work in progress.

Lakes are  listed from North to South - Most of these lakes are fairly near to Highway 395.

Twin Lakes near Bridgeport

Mono Lake - Spectacular place to paddle - awesome dispersed camping - I have a detailed Mono Lake kayak and SUP website

June Lake and other lakes along the June Lakes loop

Gull Lake is a beautiful small lake along the June Lake Loop that is wonderful for kayaking, canoeing or stand up paddle boarding. 

Silver Lake - along June Lakes loop

Mammoth Lakes - Beautiful spot to camp and paddle - easy launch - Twin Lakes is one of the Mammoth Lakes

Lake Mary  in the Mammoth Lakes Basin has a road around the lake with several good spots to launch.

Lake Mamie in the Mammoth Lakes Basin has an easy launch from the Lake Mamie Vista Point parking area.

Lake George in the Mammoth Lakes Basin is a beautiful lake with Crystal Crag behind lake - small boat launch (fee) - if you want to launch for free, you can carry your SUP / canoe / kayak up the East shore a short distance.

Convict Lake is a beautiful lake for paddling and fishing and is also near to the town of Mammoth Lakes.
