Lavender Simple Syrup
Makes 1 cup
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup lavender flowers
Mix together the water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to boil. Lower heat to medium low and add lavender flowers. Stir for 1 minute before removing from heat. Allow to seep for 45 min before running through a fine sieve. Allow to cool before refrigerating. Keeps for 2-3 weeks in air tight container. Add lavender simple syrup to taste as needed.
