A quick explanation of the homework due Tuesday:

Write 5 sentences using the indicative & another 5 using the subjunctive to express a future action or event. In each sentence, try to use 1 verb from each of the 2 columns. [If needed, you may use other verbs & conjunctions not listed on the photocopy: con tal de que, para que, sin que, etc.]

I'll write 1 of each for you:

I. (Indicativo)

Anteayer manejamos (pretérito) por media hora hasta que llegamos (pretérito) a Los Gatos para dar una caminata de siete millas.

II. (Subjuntivo)

Las fábricas contaminarán (el futuro) el aire y los ríos hasta que aprobemos (presente de subjuntivo del verbo aprobar) leyes más fuertes.
