I. ¿Cuáles son nuestros derechos y deberes? [opción múltiple = 50 puntos]
A. See the attached document for the main verbs you need to know (tratar, maltratar, tener, etc.) & the 4 tenses you need to study. OJO: This is ADVANCED grammar.
B. Study the grammar review sheet you received on Thursday. Commit to memory the different verb tense combinations commonly used in Spanish. Then complete the following activities at phschool.com [jed 1004, jed 1005, jed 1007, jed 1009, jed 1011].

C. Study the long list of vocabulary entitled Nuestros deberes y derechos.

II. Las lecturas: La horma de su zapato, No hay mal que por bien no venga, El décimo, Ríete con ellos, no de ellos [opción múltiple, ¿cierto o falso?, "short answer" = 93 puntos]
A. Reread the 3 stories listed above & the brief essay on sarcasm entitled Ríete con ellos, no de ellos. List the children's actions & their parents' sarcastic responses.
B. Spend time thinking & writing (¡en español!) about the moral and/ or message of each of these readings.
* The final 7 points of the final exam, for a total of 150, are based on listening comprehension & appear in multiple-choice form.
