Extra Credit and make up work needs to be made up within in 7 days of returning to class.

Review the class syllabus for more information. Below are EXAMPLES of assignments. See Coach Schmersal for your assignments. For extended absences or injuries please contact me for specific work and due dates.

1. Frisbee golf unit: Write 5 golf terms with definitions.

2. Self Defense Unit- Create a 10-30 sec video of the following scenario: You are walking home from school and suddenly a stranger grabs you. Describe what you would do to escape and report.

3. Nutrition: Write down what you eat for an entire day and find out the nutrition facts for each meal including snacks and drinks. (15pts)

4. Fitness: Find an article in the news paper discussing information about one of the 5 fitness components. Summarize the article and the impact it has on health and fitness. (10 pts; typed, attach a copy of the article.)

5. Find a picture showing your favorite sport or activity and tell me how participating in that activity impacts your fitness goals. Discuss which component of fitness it promotes.(2 paragraphs typed) 5pts.

6. Be a warm up leader. Come see me the day before you would like to lead warm ups to discuss your plan. (5 pts)
