John Robertson Campbell Dies in 69th Year

John Robertson Campbell, em-

ploye of the national printers,

 Limited, died on Thursday at a

local hospital in his 69th year.

Born at Eganville, Mr. Camp-

bell was a son of the late Mr. and

Mrs. James Campbell, and prior

to coming to Ottawa 41 years ago

was engaged in the printing busi-

ness both at Eganville and Pembroke.

In Ottawa he was employed with

Crain Printers, Limited, until he

joined the staff of the National

Printers, Limited, 10 years ago.

He was a member of Southmin-

ster United Church and a charter

member of the Glebe Curling

Club.

Surviving are his widow, form-

erly Adelaide Langford; four sons,

Kenneth, Donald and Ian, all of

Ottawa, and Wilmer of Niagara,

Ont.; three daughters, Mrs. S.

Gladwin, and the Misses Doris

and Rosamond, all of Ottawa; four

brothers, James, of Renfrew, Ar-

chie, of Toronto, and Stewart and

Albert Campbell.

The funeral service will be con-

ducted at the parlors of Hulse

and Playfair, Limited, 315 Mc-

Leod street, on Saturday at 2 p.m.

by Rev. Russell McGillivray, and

 burial will be at Pinecrest ceme-

tery.
