LATE MRS. LANGFORD 

On Tuesday at the Protestant Hos-

pital there died Mrs. Ann Langford,

widow of the late Richard Langford,

of this city. Mrs. Langford was 70

years and 6 months old, and has

lived in or near Ottawa all her life.

The funeral took place yesterday af-

ternoon at 2 o'clock from the resi-

dence of her daughter, Mrs. J. R.

Campbell, 54 Second avenue, and pro-

ceeded to West Templeton cemetery

where the interment took place. The

Rev. Mr. Grenville of the Methodist

church, West Templeton, conducted

the service.

Mrs. Langford had nine children, six

of whom survive her. Those living

are Mr. William Langford , Mont-

morency, Que.; Mrs. E. Wright, Russell

avenue, Ottawa; Mrs. J. McLatchie,

North Wakefield; Mr. S.S. Langford,

 Bell's Corners; Mr. Theophilus Lang-

ford, East Hull; and Mrs. J.R. Camp-

bell, 54 Second avenue, Ottawa. The

three children who predeceased their

mother were Mrs. R.N. Cairn*, Mrs.

G. Harris and Henry Langford, who

died when nine years of age.
