- Do:
- Do the work according to the plan
- Study:
- Study the information gathered
- Was the desired outcome achieved? If not what actually happened?
- Act: Decide what action is needed; for example:
- Adopt the change permanently.
- Abandon the change.
- Make some adjustments and start the cycle again.
