To store, retrieve and analyze data of sensors, cameras and alerts a free Iot platform called is used.

1. platform

The website allows you to use free a platform for IoT devices. You can store data of your cameras, sensors, actuators, alerts and subdomains on the cloud. Then you can see videos of your cameras, data and graphs of your sensors, and information of your actuators and alarms. Before to use these services you need to register using Login option.

2. Internal Network and connected devices.

Several devices are connected in through an Ethernet Network in this house. Some cabled and other wireless. There are: Laptops, Raspberry Pi mini computers, Arduino micro-controllers, routers, cameras, smart TV, projector, smartphones, tablets, among others. Moreover, some devices are connected to Internet using sensors.The Internet service is hired from a local public company, having 10Mbps of Download, 3 Mbps of Upload and a public ip address. This house has a wireless network composed by 3 routers (one per each floor). So that, you can have access to Internet anywhere in the house and you can control some devices and appliances with a tablet or smartphone.

The installed routers are: DLINK DIR-657 (first floor),  Huawei HG532s  (second floor),  DLINK DIR-615 (third floor). Additionally, to increase the distance of the WiFi network it is used a NETGEAR WN1000RP WiFi Booster for mobile.A special case is the use of 4 of 8 threads of UTP cable for transmission of energy. This is used in some house areas, in which there is only possible to have access with the data cable. In this 4 threads the transmitted voltage is between 5 and 12 VDC.

For an Arduino control, a TP-LINK Powerline Network Adapter is used to have a wired connection to local data network, using home's electrical circuit, since the closest router is far.
