Set up camp, boiled the kettle then we were off. Down through Braidwood hooked a right then pulled up at Bombay reserve next to the Shoalhaven river for morning tea.
We then proceeded 100 metres up the road before airing down then onto explored the Tallaganda state forest.
A stop off at some old logging ruins to see a steam tractor & a log mover and a water wheel (that still works)

This morning was a relaxed start o the day with most of us taking advantage of the washing machines and getting a load or two of laundry done early. Everyone except the McIntoshs were booked in on the mine tour at 9am (Ian and Shari had done the tour before). The tour was fantastic; very informative.
Following the tour we had lunch and a coffee at a local café then did some grocery restocking then returned to the caravan park to rescue the washing from the line and spend a relaxing afternoon swimming and watching the view from our shady camp spots.

Relaxing day at Eliot Falls swimming at eitherTwin Falls, The Saucepan or Eliot Falls. Twin Falls was the pick of the spots for easy access to the water. Eliot Falls is a deep canal with fast running water very and very difficult access to the water.
The Saucepan was aptly named with a long river section and a churning pool and was quite deep in the water to. A few showers of rain amongst plenty of sunshine and walks around the camping area before the usual happy hour
