The day started at 9 am at the corner of Old Hume Highway & Wombeyan Cave Rd. As you would expect it was a cold morning, but everyone turned up on time.
I led the way on bitumen and then dirt. An hour down the road and 50klm later we arrived at the gates where Nic and Liz along with JB were waiting for us.

The weather of the week before the long weekend was not giving a lot of confidence that the trip going to Potato Point would be anything else but a very cold and washed out affair. But as luck would have it the weather cleared with temps moving back up the thermometer to a much more pleasant range.

The original trip to be led by ourselves and John and Anne Poulton was to Yadboro to explore the 4WD tracks in that area. So here is the trip report for this area. Too Continue reading please find attached link Tallaganda State Forest
Tony and I were fortunate enough to attend this weekend with so many other like- minded folks from our greater 4WD community. We took a leisurely drive up on Friday, meeting our fellow campers/members at the showground where we were camping for the weekend. Friday night we inundated the pub for dinner. The food was great the beer cold and the locals very welcoming. After dinner, we headed back to the Showground for a movie in the big shed for those interested. The movie was an early Leyland Bros movie. Too Continue reading please find attached link Coolah Save our Town Initiative
