After hitching up Larry the Landcruiser we set off at 6.30am to be at the Nungarry rest area at the designated meeting time of 7am. Upon arriving we were greeted by Macca and Shari as well as Rob and Lenore in their new to them T-Van. Internal celebrations were had by us, as we knew that Al Goodridge was yet to arrive and we had escaped the scourge of arriving last, the fine being writing our beloved trip report. The celebrations were short-lived when Macca informed us that Al may not be attending and we were heading off without him. So here's our report. We arrived on Good Friday, about 9 am after camping at Stewart's Crossing for a couple of days. Macca was busy cleaning spiders etc from the toilets. He and Shari had arrived Thursday night. Fabio & Leslie also arrived on Thursday and were set up down the other side of the campfire. Lee & Nicole arrived with the convoy in tow, including Brad, a new member who hadn't been to the digs before. Too Continue reading please find attached link Easter 2021 - Trip To Diamond Digs

Getting in and out was hard for the adults but not the kids. We drove down this giant rock face. I won a raffle draw by picking my own ticket out. I won a headlamp. The weekend began on Friday, with everybody making their own way to the Burraga Dam campsite. Greg and Marge and Lee and I were among the first to arrive, very closely followed by Ian and Shari so we got to pick the campsite. Walter and Stitch had already arrived and were waiting on other club members to arrive before setting up camp. Too Continue reading please find attached link Burraga Dam
