Welcome to the BHS Bands TRIVIA NIGHT Information and registration page.
The Trivia Night fundraiser is an event for teams of 4-8 players to compete in a trivia contest. Players can sign up as a team or as individuals who will be grouped into teams. Register a team as a group of Adults, a group of Students, or a combination (e.g. a family!)
Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 (7-9 pm) at the BHS Auditorium
Adult Player fee: $10, Players must be out of high school.
Student Player fee: $5, Must be high school students or younger
Snow date: Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016
Trivia Night features the following:
- Competition process: Nine rounds of questions with short breaks after Rounds 3 and 6. Questions for each round can cover any topic.
- Mulligans: Teams can buy mulligans – a set of three free answers – before Round 1, Round 4, or Round 7. Teams can use one mulligan per round. They can purchase only one set of mulligans. The cost of mulligans increases as rounds pass.
- 50/50 raffles: Adult players can also participate in 50/50 raffles.
- Expert auctions: Teams can also bid for subject matter experts to join their team for one round. Depending on the experts we can schedule, there will be special rounds related to their expertise. For example, a high school history teacher may be available for a special History round.
- Concessions: Players can purchase pizza slices, chips, candy, desserts, and bottled soft drinks and water from our concession stand.
- Prizes: The following prizes are awarded to the team with the highest score. We will use tiebreaker questions, if needed.
- After Round 3: free slice of pizza
- After Round 6: free dessert
- After Round 9 (end of competition): team name added to a traveling trophy AND Cash/Gift Cards for each winning team player
