Our Gift-checkbook fundraiser is back by popular demand to help cover travel related expenses! You earn $10 profit on each book sold toward your son/daughter's individual account. These valuable books contain over $195 in same as cash certificates (not like coupons) to local places, so by using 2-3 (same as cash) Gift-checks, our families/supporters can easily recoup the $20 purchase price. Further details are:
- Last Friday, August 18, students were given the option of taking home a Gift-checkbook or order form. If they took home a book, they need to be responsible for it. Hopefully you have seen it already! The book provided is expected to serve as a sample to potential purchasers, with orders taken on the sell sheet provided (and paid for at time of order). The students can bring their sell sheets into Mr. Hollaway to collect the books for distribution. If students would like additional books to sell directly, they may also request additional books from Mr. Hollaway. Note that the book provided to the students is an actual product and the students must return a sale sheet and the associated funds or the original book provided (if none are sold).
- In addition to face to face sales (buy one for yourself & show your friends, they will appreciate it), here are a few easy ways to promote the sale of our Bartlett High School Band Gift-checkbooks.
- The goal is to reach as many people as possible since fundraising is a numbers game. The more people you reach, the more earned by to support Bartlett High School Band Students.
- In addition. this website allows people to credit their purchase to a specific school, or individual. There are 2 free text sections in the Checkout section of the BoosterShot online store. The purchase can enter the information at this point so the correct Organization/Group/Person gets credit. One other perk is that someone can purchase a book for another organization and credit it to their organization. For example, my child is a member of the Band at Bartlett High School, but I have grandparents in Naperville. The grandparents could purchase a Naperville Central High School or Neuqua Valley High School book, and then give the credit to Bartlett High School and specifically, their grandchild. All they need to do is enter the group and person's name in the checkout section.
