Band Parents Meeting / Upcoming Events

The next Band Parents Meeting will be on On Monday, October 27th at 7:00 pm in the BHS Band Room.

We have got a great fundraiser coming up with Jersey Mike's in early November that has the potential for a great return to the band. We'll be distributing coupons at the Monday meeting. Each coupon brought to Jersey Mike's between November 4th - 6th will be worth $2 to the band. Each coupon presented allows the user to get a sub for $2 and the $2 goes directly to the band. It's really a great and easy opportunity for the band to generate funds for activities and equipment. So join us on Monday to get coupons for yourselves, friends, and families. Also, with the Fill the House for the Mouse fundraiser quickly approaching, a few updates and reminders - please deliver all payments, donations, etc for Nov 15th Fill The House (FTH) Bowling Fundraiser Event to Band Class as they become available. This will help the Committee get a more current status of FTH progress and will help avoid a bottleneck in the week before the event. There is a collection bin at BHS in the Band Room specifically marked "FTH" for these materials. Please send any payments (Checks payable to BHS only) in a sealed envelope(s). A few additional points:

• Second and Third Prizes are still needed for the Grand Raffle. Previously donated items include: Gas Grill, Pop Up Canopy, Tickets to Premium Sporting events, autographed sports/celebrity paraphernalia, Getaway package, microwave - to name a few. Suggested Retail Value should be at least $100.
• Additional raffle ticket booklets are still available by contacting Eileen Szubert @ eileenszubert@hotmail.com ; All other FTH questions are also welcome at the same email address or call/text Eileen at 708-610-5682.
• We are just over 3 weeks away from our FTH event...Registrations and Gift Basket donations are due to Eileen on or before Fri., Nov 7 - Lane Sponsors and Raffle Tickets are due on or before Wed., Nov 12.
