Good Afternoon Band Families – As discussed at last night’s parent meeting, plans for the Band to travel to and perform at Disney World over Spring Break 2016 are coming together. Our introductory document (e-mail BHSBands1@gmail.com to get a copy) includes a good deal of important information, including:· Trip Summary (Dates, Hotel, various other trip features)
· Draft Itinerary (subject to change based on Disney scheduling, and ongoing discussions with the travel arranger)
· Anticipated Costs and Payment Schedule (shown below)
o Total Expected Cost - $989 per student (assumes quad occupancy)
o 1st Payment - $150 Due November 2, 2015
o 2nd Payment - $200 Due December 1, 2015
o 3rd Payment - $300 Due January 8, 2016
o 4th Payment - $339 (Balance) Due February 1, 2016
o Statements with Student fundraising balances will be going home tomorrow
o Payments can be made via Check (MADE OUT TO: Bartlett HS Boosters) or by applying earned credit from fundraising balances.
· A Friends and Family plan (for hotel and Disney access)
If your student is planning on participating in this trip, it is critical that the 1st payment be made by November 2nd as noted above so that we will know the number of participating students and be in a position to plan accordingly.
We expect to have a representative of Vanguard Travel at our next meeting and he will be able to share further details and answer questions.
