Kuwait

Kuwait! With the emphasis on Wait! Well, my deployment to Iraq is finally happening. After a three month wait of training in New Jersey I am finally in a combat zone of sorts. I am waiting in Kuwait. It is very nice here - lots of services - but all that is just to make the waiting seem less boring! I see the Kuwaiti people praying on little rugs or even cardboard pieces five times a day. I contrast this with the crude comments and behavior of some of my fellow soldiers, many of whom look down on the Kuwaitis as less than human. I pray the Lord will judge the Kuwaitis and other devout Muslims with mercy and lead them to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. For now, I wait and pray for a speedy year.
