Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and Autism
When your child goes to school he or she will (unless completely mainstreamed) will have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) developed concerning his or her educational needs at school. The IEP (as most things too complicated to understand) will be developed by a committee. The committee will be composed of education professionals, the parents, and people the parent want to bring to the meeting.
