"The Book of Enoch is any of several works that attribute themselves to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah and son of Jared (Genesis 5:18). These works are [speculated by some to be] the product of ancient Jewish literature.

Most commonly, the phrase Book of Enoch refers to 1 Enoch, which is wholly extant only in the Ethiopic language, with Aramaic fragments from Qumran and medieval Greek fragments. There are two other books named "Enoch": 2 Enoch, surviving only in Old Slavonic (translated around 863AD, in the age of the Byantzine Empire); Eng. trans. by R. H. Charles (1896); and 3 Enoch (surviving in Hebrew, c. 5th-6th century). The numbering of these texts has been applied by scholars to distinguish the texts from one another. 2 Enoch and 3 Enoch are at best copied translations of the original Book of Enoch, which was written only in the ancient language of Ethiopia.

While this book today does not form part of the Canon of Scripture for most of the Christian Churches, it was quoted as a prophetic text in the New Testament (Letter of Jude with also a probable reference in I Peter 3:19,20 to Enoch 6-36, especially 21, 6; 2 Enoch 7:1-5) and by many of the early Church Fathers, and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church regards it to be inspired Scripture. The currently known texts of this work are usually dated during the Second Temple period, between the fourth/third century BC and the first century AD.

Ge'ez (also transliterated Gi'iz, and referred to as Ethiopic) is an ancient South Semitic language that had developed in the current region of Eritrea and northern Ethiopia in the Horn of Africa, as the language of the peasantry. It later became the official language of the Kingdom of Aksum and Ethiopian imperial court.

Today Ge'ez remains only as the main language used in the liturgy of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, the Eritrean Orthodox Tewahdo Church, the Ethiopic Catholic Church, and also the Beta Israel Jewish community. However, in Ethiopia Amharic (the main lingua franca of modern Ethiopia) or other local languages, and in Eritrea and Tigray Region in Ethiopia Tigrinya may be used for sermons.

The Book of Jubilees, sometimes misnomered as the Lesser Genesis (Leptogenesis) and written originally in Ge'ez, came to be considered one of the Pseudepigrapha (hidden scripture) by most Protestant, Roman Catholic, and Eastern Orthodox Christians. It was well known to Early Christian writers in the East and the West, as well as by the Rabbis. Later it was so thoroughly suppressed that no complete Hebrew, Greek or Latin version has survived. It is still considered canonical for the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, where it is known as the Book of Division (Ge'ez: Mets'hafe Kufale). In the modern scholarly view, it reworks material found in the Biblical books of Genesis and Exodus in the light of concerns of some 2nd century BCE Jews.

The Book of Jubilees claims to present "the history of the division of the days of the Law, of the events of the years, the year-weeks, and the jubilees of the world" as secretly revealed to Moses (in addition to the Torah or "Law") while Moses was on Mount Sinai for forty days and forty nights. The chronology given in Jubilees is based on multiples of seven; the "jubilees" are periods of 49 years, seven 'year-weeks', into which all of time has been divided. i think they got the cycle wrong. i think a jubilee represents 7 years. you might base it on a cycle of 14 years to all for natural breeding, basically sexual maturuty. but i propose that along with the development of cloning technology came the ability to accelerate clonal growth. you can get your own copy of the book of jubilees, but here is my interpretation of it.

we start with adam and eve (don't ask me how all these names became english...).

"they had no son til their first jubilee" = with accelerated growth at seven years they were approx 14 years old. no name is given to this son, and there is no further reference. their next 3 children; Cain in "third week of the second jubilee" (which i take to mean when they were 17), Abel in the "4th week of the jubilee" or 18yrs old and Arwen when Eve was 19yrs old. according to the book of jubilees, Cain killed Abel in the "first week of the third jubilee". by my reckoning that would have happened when Cain was 5 and Abel a year younger. or maybe he didn't. accoding to the book of jubilees, Cain slew Abel when god accepted the sacrifice of Abel and not the offering of Cain in the field. maybe the sacrifice of Abel, was Abel, and like their first son he was never heard of again. "at the close of the 4th jubilee" Cain, who had taken his sister Arwen to be his wife, had a son. the close of the forth jubilee means just before the 35 year, when Cain was about 18 and Arwen 16yrs old.

(here is an interesting passage, written after the death of Abel - "And on this account it is written on the heavenly tables, 'Cursed is ,he who smites his neighbour treacherously, and let all who have seen and heard say, So be it; and 6 the man who has seen and not declared (it), let him be accursed as the other.' And for this reason we announce when we come before the Lord our God all the sin which is committed in heaven and on earth, and in light and in darkness, and everywhere." sounds a lot like this - " One of the trickier aspects of this organization is that a great part of the Teachings were focused on the great Evil being perpetrated in the world. Elizabeth and her spiritual overseers were so busy pointing and directing our attention to the Evils of this world, that it is almost impossible to look back upon their source as being of evil intent itself. Our attention was constantly directed 7 days per week to giving hours of long prayer & decree vigils, to calling for the judgement of evil, by the powers of God." This, my people, is ASCENSIONISM. that, and mentions of 'watchers', that adam was 'made' and that eve was 'made of his rib' and that she was introduced to him after they woke him back up, and that every animal in the garden of eden spoke the same language, leads me to believe aliens were responsible for the creation myth.)

Keep reading from there and it starts looking like a generational experiment on the passing on of genetic traits like we did with fruitflies in science at high school, because its the men marrying either their sisters, cousins or nieces, or grand nieces, right down the family tree. and continues literally for generations. this is an exerpt from the dead sea scrolls - "Then I, Noah, became an adult. I held firmly to righteousness and I took hold [… … … …] and ’Amzar‘a his daughter I took as my wife. I impregnated her and she bore to me three sons [and ? daughters …]. Then I procured wives for my sons from among the daughters of my brother, and I gave my daughters to the sons of my brother in accordance with the eternal law <and> ordinance [… …. …] the Most High to humanity." also according to the dead sea scrolls, Noah didn't warn anyone about the great flood. in fact one isn't mentioned until **after** the journey in the arc, when they were already settled in their new land.

finally, the book of enoch and the book of jubilees give geographical clues to the location of the biblical "garden of eden" - in modern-day ethiopia.

today, such selective breeding as is recorded in the book of jubilees is called eugenics.

in the first part of the last century, the eugenics movement brought together some of the best geneticists and physicians in the western world. it was — and for some, still is — easy to endorse their initial agenda: civilized people have an obligation to minimize the number of defective versions of genes in their chromosomes and in those of their descendants, replacing them with good, better and best versions.

some eugenicists, however, were impatient with simple testing and counseling. would it not be easier to cultivate the best selections of human genes, they asked, if the wasteful, genetically risky business of having children were put under rational control, and easier still if the results of genetic analysis were fed into a state apparatus that would decide who could be born and who not?

andrew carnegie, whose free libraries grace new york and many other cities, was a generous and enthusiastic supporter, as well, of the international eugenics movement. He founded the carnegie station for experimental evolution at cold spring harbor, **long island, new york - the favourite place for the us military's more clandestine human research projects** - at the turn of the century. charles davenport, the director of the cold spring harbor laboratory in the 1920’s, contributed heavily to congress’s decisions in that decade to restrict immigration to the united states on "national" grounds. his testimony before congress, and that of others, was full of eugenic contentions couched in the most scientific tone; for example, alcoholism, poverty and avarice were argued to be "genes" inherited by people born of irish, italian and jewish parents, respectively.

the inaccuracy, intellectual sloppiness and prejudices of scientists like davenport and like-minded members of congress converged in the immigration law of 1926, which codified the most crudely racist and biologically foolish distinctions since the constitution’s definition of an african slave as two-thirds of a human being. by the 1940’s, this eugenically based law had blocked the escape to the united states of many people who subsequently died in actions carried out according to the more activist racial laws of the third reich - **not however, those highly educated in the fields of science and mathematics who for various reasons found it opportune to emmigrate**. not the unfortunate slavs and poles, but the for the most part jewish scientists whose family wealth and connections had assured them an education to reach the pinnicle of their chose professions, not to mention some political influence outside of germany itself.
