How to get there

By car:

Please use our (hopefully self-explanatory) google map to get directions for all relevant locations. The Nathan Hale Inn also has directions on their website: http://www.nathanhaleinn.com/map-directions/index.cfm (parking is free for participants staying there). If you are coming to Storrs on CT 195 from North (e.g. if you are coming via I-84), note that the campus will be mostly to your right off CT 195, but the talk on Friday will be on your left. (Take Horse Barn Hill Road at the second on-campus traffic light, then Parking Lot 4 will be on your left, which is directly in front of the Young Building.)

For directions to the Best Western Regent Inn, we have created a second google map.

By bus:

By train:

Frequent Amtrak trains run to Hartford Union Station. If you are arriving in a group, please share a taxi (40 min, 73$) to UConn; make sure to bring printed directions (to Nathan Hale Inn or to the Best Western) at the driver may not know the way to Storrs. If you are arriving alone, please contact us about reserving a University shuttle (see below).

By plane:

You should fly to Bradley International (BDL). See the information below for the UConn shuttle service, or you could take a taxi (40 min, 73$, bring printed directions, to the Nathan Hale Inn or to the Best Western).

University Shuttle:

There is UConn shuttle for 50$ per person that can pick up participants from Bradley Airport or Hartford Union station. Please e-mail Arend with your precise arrival/departure information and a cellphone number before September 13, then we can book the shuttle.
