Boston College Directions and Parking

Hotel Directions:

The conference hotel is the AC Hotel by Marriott in Cleveland Circle, 395 Chestnut Hill Avenue, Boston.  The most convenient T-stop is Cleveland Circle, the last stop on the C branch of the Green Line.

From Logan airport: It is possible to take public transportation to the Cleveland Circle stop on the Green Line C branch.  Alternatively, a taxi (or equivalent) will cost about $50.

From Amtrak: Disembark at the Back Bay Amtrak Station (do not go all the way to the South Station) and walk 2 minutes down Dartmouth St to the Copley Square T station (make sure to cross Boylston St to get to the outbound track). Then take the Green Line C branch to the Cleveland Circle stop.

By car: The hotel is located just south of Beacon street on Chestnut Hill Ave.  Valet parking is available at the hotel for a rate of $45 per day, which can be reimbursed by charging directly to the conference hotel account.

Boston College Directions:

The address for Boston College is 140 Commonwealth Avenue, Chestnut Hill.  It is most convenient to refer to the campus map for navigating on campus.

From the hotel: The most convenient way to reach BC from the hotel is by walking along this path.  It takes about 25 minutes.  It is also possible to drive, but there is no convenient public transportation from the hotel to BC.

By car:  Visitor's parking is available next to the conference venue at the Beacon Street Garage with GPS address 156 Beacon Street, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467 and at the Commonwealth Avenue Garage with GPS address 40 St. Thomas More Rd, Boston, MA 02135. Weekend parking costs $10 per exit or per 12 hours (starting at 6:00 p.m. Friday) and weekday parking costs $6 per hour.  There is also limited street parking near the campus along Beacon Street (3 hour limit, free after 6:00 pm and on Sunday).

    -The organizers will procure a number of parking passes to the Beacon Street Garage and the Commonwealth Avenue Garage to be used by the participants. Please contact the organizers if you would like to obtain one. 

By public transportation: Take either:

- the Green Line D (fastest) to the Reservoir station and walk north along Hammond street to the campus, or

- the Green Line C to the Cleveland Circle stop and walk around the reservoir to campus, or

- the Green Line B (slowest) to the Boston College stop which is right next to campus.
