And we have completed build season! Our bagged robot is capable of shooting with reasonable force (see video in post below), but do not despair – we will still improve it before our first regional (Sacramento), which is in a mere 3 weeks.
In order to continue working, we will be finishing building the practice robot, and then we will be able to use this robot to test intake arms, provide a better back end for the catapult arm (so we don’t drop the ball), improve the latching mechanism for the catapult, make a better stop for the catapult, and possibly add extensions to aide with catching the ball.
Y hemos completado la temporada de construcción! Nuestro robot embolsado es capaz de disparar con una fuerza razonable (ver video en el post más adelante), pero no se desespere - estamos todavía mejorarlo antes de nuestra primera regional (Sacramento), que es en sólo 3 semanas.
Con el fin de seguir trabajando estaremos terminando la construcción del robot práctica, y luego vamos a ser capaces de utilizar este robot para probar armas de admisión, un final mejor vuelta para el brazo de la catapulta (así que no deje caer la bola), mejorar la mecanismo para la catapulta de enganche, hacer una mejor parada de la catapulta, y, posiblemente, añadir extensiones a ayudante al agarrar la pelota.
