Rosetti Hall and the Trustco Bank Center

Rosetti Hall opened in August 2013, and is Siena's first LEED-certified building. Home to Siena's sociology, social work and education departments, Rosetti's environmentally friendly design has integrated recycled materials into its construction, as well as incorporated geothermal heating and cooling systems, photovoltaic solar panels and energy-efficient LED-lighting.

The newly renovated Trustco Bank Center is also one of Siena's LEED-certified buildings on campus. The environmentally friendly administrative building is home to business affairs, human resources, purchasing, auxiliary services and the Mohawk Battalion, the Capital District's Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). Originally the New York State Police Troop G Headquarters, the re-purposed building incorporated recycled material into its construction as well as added new windows, a new roof and solar panels that provide around 40% of the building's electrical energy.
