MIDDLE SCHOOL
2025-2026
2025-2026
Good afternoon,
Next week is Homecoming Week and we will have a modified dress code. Although we will modify the dress code, all of the various dress days should still remain within the spirit of the dress code.
During Homecoming Competition Week, Upper School students participate in themed, judged costume days. This tradition has led to dress-up days for all students, including a school-wide Class Color Day on Friday. Four class colors repeat throughout the student body and promote class unity and connection to older peers who share the same class color. (The class color travels with the student as they progress through Shorecrest.)
Monday, October 20: Twin Day (twin with a friend or group)
Tuesday, October 21: Dress Like Your Parent Day
Wednesday, October 22: Space Day (T-shirts, space characters, etc.) with uniform bottoms
Thursday, October 23: Green and Gold Day with uniform bottoms
Friday, October 24: Class Color Day
Fifth: Orange
Sixth: Blue
Seventh: Purple
Eighth: Red
Wednesday, October 15 at 7pm via Webex: https://shorecrest.webex.com/shorecrest/j.php?MTID=m0d08fe0733fce505e03a908b517cccca
A virtual event for all Shorecrest parents/guardians geared towards 7th and 8th graders to learn more about the opportunities ahead in 9-12th grades at Shorecrest. During this event, Shorecrest families will hear from members of the Upper School Administration and the College Counseling Office about the various academic and extracurricular opportunities available for students in the Upper School and the benefits of Shorecrest's four-year college counseling program. This event will be recorded and shared with Shorecrest families if you can not make this time.
Our community will come together this Friday for a schoolwide* Pep Rally celebrating Shorecrest Homecoming and Chargers spirit! Students are encouraged to wear Shorecrest green and gold as we cheer on our teams and classmates. Please note that photos and video will be taken throughout the event to capture the excitement and showcase our school pride.
*Experiential School students have their own mini-pep rally on Friday morning on the Experiential School playground.
