WORKSHOP UPDATE FOR 2025/2026
We are pausing our delivery of workshops for semester one to allow time to review the sessions we deliver. We plan to update this site in early 2026 with details of future sessions. Please check back for further updates. In the meantime, please take a look at our resources from past sessions.
If you have any questions, please email us at

We'd like to welcome you to our range of workshops, which are aimed at helping you to manage life at University. From our work with many disabled students, we recognise that studying can be challenging at times, alongside looking after your physical and mental health and juggling Uni life. These workshops are aimed at giving you some helpful tools to try and make things a little easier, with a chance to meet other students in similar situations, and to give you some time and space to reflect.
Please click the banner below, and complete the google form using your student email address.
Our in-person workshop is held in the ICOSS Conference room, ICOSS Building, 219 Portobello, Sheffield, S1 4DP. Please click the link below for further info about adjustments available in the room :
The conference room is the green part of the building sticking out at the front. Fire alarm testing happens at 10.45 am on Mondays.
We are dedicated to creating a safe and accessible environment for all participants in our workshops and groups. Most of our workshops are now delivered on-line. We use Wooclap so that students can interact anonymously with the workshop topic. We encourage students to have their cameras on but if this isn't comfortable for you, it's fine to have it turned off. You can also contribute, should you choose to, through the chat box or by raising your virtual hand. We also have a break in the workshops and encourage you to do what you need to in order to look after yourself.
For our in-person workshop, we strive to accommodate individual needs as much as possible, including providing low lighting, maintaining cool room temperatures, and addressing other sensory considerations wherever we can. If you require a specific adjustment to attend any of our workshops, please let us know by emailing the address below with details of the adjustment needed and the workshop you plan to attend. We will make every effort to fulfil your request, so please contact us in advance to ensure we have enough time to prepare. Additionally, workshop facilitators will be available on the day to provide any further support you may need. Your comfort and accessibility are top priorities for us.
