Selecting FIVE or SIX subjects at Years 11 – 13 

Year 11 & 12

Many learners opt to study six subjects at Year 11 and 12. This choice needs to be carefully considered in conjunction with: 

• Task commitment

• Level of commitment to cultural and sporting interests out of class time

• Assessment load across your full subject selection

• Academic ability

Year 13

Careful consideration should be given to workload both in curriculum and co-curricular when considering taking six subjects. The above bullet points also need to be carefully considered.
