NCEA Level 2 Music
Aims
Ākonga learn how to work individually and collaboratively and to explore ways of creating, interpreting and representing ideas within music. Ākonga have opportunities to further their own creative potential as they sing, play instruments, read symbols and notations, record and analyse and appreciate music. As ākonga learn to communicate musically with increasing sophistication, they lay a foundation for lifelong enjoyment of and participation in music.
