Aims 

• Understand and produce more complex language 

• Communicate beyond the immediate context, e.g. past and future events 

• Communicate information, ideas and opinions

• Understand ways in which the target language is organised for different purposes 

• Express and respond to personal ideas and opinions 

• Communicate appropriately in different situations 

Course Content

Over the year we will study some of the following topics. You will work on creating written and spoken work as well as working on understanding of written and spoken language in authentic contexts. You will learn how to approach NCEA style assessments in order to be prepared for Level 2.

• Free time and fun activities

• Family life
