PUPILS SHOULD NOT LEAVE VALUABLES UNATTENDED. Students who find it necessary to bring valuables to school should consult with their administrator upon entering the school building. Although the student’s locker is not necessarily a safe haven, the risk of having items stolen dramatically increases when students share a locker or when they disable to locking mechanism. In physical education classes, valuables should be locked in a locker or turned over to the physical education teacher for safekeeping. In the event that anything is lost or missing, it should be reported immediately. The Lost and Found Department is located in the school’s main office. Seymour High School is not responsible for lost or stolen items including but not limited to phones, electronic devices, apparel and shoes.
