Sprouts Chef Training Internship

What is it?

• Hands-on culinary training for students in their final year of high school, or who are participating in flexible schedule school programs (such as Satellite, TRACE, Independent Study).

Where is it?

• Training will occur at Stanford University kitchens

How Long is it?

• 8 weeks (total 96 hours)

When are the shifts?

• Stanford is very flexible with time as they are generally open 7 days a week from 9 am-7 pm (i.e. we can schedule morning, daytime, and late afternoon shifts) 

No experience in the restaurant industry is required.

To join our program you must:

• Be 16-24 years old

• Have the desire to:

  • Become a chef OR work a culinary job to pay for your next step in life

• Have a working knowledge of English (Intermediate ACTFL level)

• Be willing to devote 12 hours MINIMUM per week to Sprouts

  • For a duration of 8 weeks (96 total hours)

• Live in the Bay Area in stable housing

• Have access to transportation
