Set up your account on a smartphone
On this page, you can set up your account on your smartphone. You will install two apps: The Microsoft authenticator app and the Outlook app. We are assuming that you have your student email and password.
Download Microsoft Authenticator app
Open the App store (either Apple or Google Play)
Search for "Microsoft authenticator"
Select "get"
Download the Microsoft Outlook app
Open the App store (either Apple or Google Play)
Search for "outlook"
Select "get"
Open the app
Do not add account (tap "skip")
Add your outlook account to the Outlook app
Click on all accounts (the home icon in the upper left of screen)
Click add account
Click Add email account
Enter email address
Enter your new student email account in the next screen and click "add account"
Open authenticator app and enter Password when prompted
Tap "Open authenticator"
Enter Portal password
Tap Sign in
Using authenticator for the 1st time
Now you will authenticate the account.
Click Next under "More information needed" and then click next under "Microsoft authenticator.
Pair your student email account to the authenticator app
Pair your account to the app by clicking on the link on the page.
Then click next.
Approve your sign-in
Tap approve on the pop-up notice to approve
Then when approved, click next.
Done!
Tap done
You are ready to use your email!
How to find your new student email
Tap on the Microsoft Outlook app on your home screen.
