Whether you find it hard to read a book or you enjoy listening to someone narrate a story, or you just like doing a few things at the same time... Reading an audiobook is always a good plan!
Take a break from the page or the screen and give audiobooks a chance, and you'll find that it's easy to incorporate them into your routine!
Here are some links to awesome audiobooks for all ages... you'll have to use your Odilo account to access the books! Happy (audio)reading!
Today we had a special visitor in the Library! Rosario is an alumni, from the generation of '56 and she came by today to pick up a selection of books in English to read to her grandson Lucas, who wishes to improve his English.
We are so happy when alumni come to visit us and still feel at home as members of the community!
Here she is happy with a bag full of wonderful books to enjoy in family.

Did you know that, according to the IB, Solidarity is the constant and selfless disposition of generosity and devotion to others❤️
To celebrate, our teacher librarians prepared a readaloud for Lower School: The Selfish Giant, by Oscar Wilde. The Readaloud was a success!
Afterwards, librarians reflected with students on what Solidarity means.
“Es compartir con otros y ayudar a los otros sin esperar nada a cambio”, said Olivia from 4th grade.
What do you do in your daily life to show Solidarity?
Happy Solidarity Day! ✨
Miss Anne and Miss Vale are so happy to present the prettiest corner in the Lower Library: the Outdoor corner, a special space where children can experiment, touch, think, learn about and be inspired by Nature! Our motto is: "READ NATURE", and children are encouraged to come and get comfy, read, or just hang around this space surrounded by Nature's best.
Mindfulness sessions were held in the Library: the goal was to focus in the here and the now... Afterwards they enjoyed a book called "I Am Peace: A Book Of Mindfulness” by Susan Verde and discovered the power of being fully in the present moment.
This month the Lower Library hosted a Book Launching for our "Create a Book Club"! This club started off during Book Week, a couple of weeks ago and has continued to work since then.
A group of 7 students from 4th and 3rd Grade participated with passion, commitment and lots of imagination, writing and designing a wonderful story with illustrations, binded together to create a book🥰
During the Launching Event, some students and teachers got to see part of the process registered by Miss Anne and read the final products!
The participants were accompanied by their teachers and classmates, and received a diploma of participation and a little token from the Library: an author starter kit, to accompany them in their many creative stories to come! ❣️
Congratulations, authors!

MANGA AND ANIME CLUB

Diversity matters!
We well know that today is not a date to celebrate or congratulate, but to commemorate, recognize and reflect. Today, March 8, women's struggle for fair and equal treatment continues. In a society in the midst of transformation, women have been at the forefront for an inclusive culture and community; That is why this date is still important today, just as it has been since the last century.
It is exciting to see how these new generations have taught us more about sisterhood, taking care of ourselves, celebrating and honoring each other.
We hope that their faces and debates continue to inspire us inside and outside this community.
With great affection we share with you the result of "8M with the Library", and invite you all to see the collage with your faces on it, in the High School Library.
A fraternal hug,
Your librarians 💜
