x-intercepts (of a graph)

Definition:

• The values, x , at which a graph intersects the horizontal axis. Note: If we restrict the domain of a function to the Reals, its zeros (roots) are also x – intercepts. If not, there may be more zeroes (roots) than x – intercepts.
