Maxima or Minima value of a quadratic function

In order to find the Maxima or Minima of a function you will have to look at the sign of the leading term to determine if your function is going to have a Maxima or Minima. If a < 0 (Negative) you will have a Maxima if a > 0 (Positive) you will have a Minima
