Michael is a disability support worker who is preparing his replacement to take over his role. However his final shift doesn’t end as soon as he planned when his client drags him way out of his comfort zone in order to track down his missing cat.
This film is inspired by and dedicated to the wonderful characters that I have met in my time working as a disability support worker. There have been many humbling moments in this job where I have stopped and thought about how bizarre my life is, because I have become invested in a life and a world that is so different from my own. I think that sometimes we are too quick to make judgements upon people before considering the world they grew up in, and how this shaped them as a person. With this in mind, I wanted to create a story set in a lower socio-economic society, but make humanity and positive morality the driving themes behind it.
