Design studio 2 Trimester 3
My name is Campbell King, I have a passion for creativity and I am currently studying Design and Communication at SAE. I have always loved art and I found my calling when I discovered graphic design. I love the challenge of creating something beautiful and unique out of seemingly mundane objects or ideas.

For our first brief, we had to create a personal branding that would be used through a 16-page foliozine. I approached this with a clean, vintage theme as that is one of many styles of design I really like.
This is my cover page for my foliozine contianting my name and a self portrait.
I am happiest when I am creating something new, whether it is a design for a client or a piece of art for myself. I pour my heart and soul into everything I do, and strive to create work that is not only visually stunning but also meaningful. I am excited about what the future holds, and hope to continue using my skills to make a positive impact on the world around me.
For our second brief, we were asked to create a beer label for a local craft brewery or create our own using a Western Australian landmark. I made a brewery based around Cervantes and a beer for the Pinnacles as it is very iconic and recognisable.
I chose The pinnacles as my Western Australian landmark. My Company is called 'Cervantes Brewing Co.' as Cervantes is the town closest to the Pinnacles. My favourite thing about the. I created a Lime flavoured lager called Limestone. I chose the name as the Pinnacles are made out of limestone so it was a good twist on the name.
For our third brief, we had to make an album cover for our favourite artist.
I chose the album ‘Stop Staring At the Shadows' by $uicideboy$.
I created this by compiling and manipulating multiple images to create a mystical theme.
Cave
Rocks
Gravel
Water
Rocks for edges
Rocks for edges
Statue
Rocks for edges
I was extremally happy with this project as the result was exactly what I was imagining. Using ideas from the old album cover, for example, the statue and the idea of having two people incorporated in the design. The album cover has a fantasy/mystical feeling as the scale of the statue appears huge and the eyes are glowing. I love how this turned out and I hope you enjoyed learning the process behind it.
(Tip: Make sure its 1080p in the settings)
