Juniors
11th Grade
Choosing the right Science courses for your Spartan!
Introduction
Juniors at Homestead High School have an even wider variety of courses available to them as 11th grade students. A key question to consider when choosing their next science course is whether they have taken and passed either Biology I or Honors Biology I and have they taken and passed Chemistry or Honors Chemistry/DC Chemistry 101? Choose the field below that best describes you or that you have the most interest in.
Life Sciences/Medical Field
Juniors who have passed Biology I or Honors Biology I, and Chemistry or Honors/DC Chemistry 101 and have an interest in pursuing Pre-med, Pre-dental, Pre-Vet, Nursing, etc.: (It is recommended to take at least 8+ credits of these courses throughout high school). *either Chemistry or Physics is required
