Course Description
Biology II is an advanced laboratory course that explores life’s diversity and its underlying unity. Topics will focus on scientific methods, current understandings, and research trends for major fields of biological inquiry. It will also deal with the principles of biochemistry, cellular processes, inheritance, and evolution. Plant anatomy and physiology will also be discussed.
Dissection is not performed in this class - if you want to dissect, please see Anatomy & Physiology or Zoology.
A grade of C or higher in previous science courses is strongly recommended.
