Course Description Honors Biology

• Course is a study of biochemistry, cellular structure and function, ecology, genetics, and evolution  

• Scientific process skills, advanced data and graph analysis, modeling processes, technical writing, and content literacy skills are a focus throughout the course. 

• Students will also gain an understanding of current areas of research and the impact of social issues within the field of biology.  

• Laboratory work entailing rigorous, technically written reports and data analysis is emphasized in this course. 

• There is a state science test taken during enrollment in this course.
