Course Description Honors Biology
Course is a study of biochemistry, cellular structure and function, ecology, genetics, and evolution
Scientific process skills, advanced data and graph analysis, modeling processes, technical writing, and content literacy skills are a focus throughout the course.
Students will also gain an understanding of current areas of research and the impact of social issues within the field of biology.
Laboratory work entailing rigorous, technically written reports and data analysis is emphasized in this course.
There is a state science test taken during enrollment in this course.
The State of Indiana requires students to earn 4 more science credits beyond Biology to graduate. You may want to consider taking additional science electives.
