The course covers the first semester of a calculus based college physics course. Students will learn and use introductory differential and integral calculus throughout the course. All students are expected to take the AP Physics C: E&M exam in May.

The course utilizes guided inquiry and student centered learning to foster the development of critical thinking skills. Students will explore six content areas: Fluids, DC circuits, electrostatics, and electrodynamics. The students will study the basic principles of each area and apply them conceptually and mathematically.
