Course Description
- ZOOLOGY is the scientific study of ANIMALS. This one semester course will be an in depth study of the Kingdoms Protista (protozoans only) and Animalia.
- The course will begin with INVERTEBRATES such as sponges, cnidarians, echinoderms, arthropods, and several worm phyla.
- The course will continue with VERTEBRATES such as fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.
This is a LAB INTENSIVE course! Students engage in multiple DISSECTIONS and other lab activities.
