Artist Statement

Throughout this semester I had some rough patches mainly quarter two as well as some good places mainly quarter one. I really exiled with quarter one. I enjoyed taking photos outside and didn't mind any of the assignments. Including the my research project and all of the digital portfolios. When enter semester two I was ready for the challenge and was looking forward to learning how to work in the darkroom. However, I began to fall behind in my assignments, in the darkroom, and my digital portfolio plummeted. I believe that over the year my apparition improved as well as my ability to take photos. Learning about all the diffrent composition rules and what makes a good photo was very beneficial and helped me take my photos. Film in quarter two was the most challenging for because I fell behind. When falling behind in the darkroom it is really hard to catch back up. Since I enjoy photographing a lot of nature my appreciation for it and my hate for people destroying it really shows in my photos as well as my artist statements.
