Cloning and Overlays

Artist Statement

I made these images with photoshop. I erased, overlaid, copied and pasted, and lassoed items into place. I choose to add the ice background onto one of them because winter is one of my favorite sessions. Also the composition rules I used were: high key lighting, soft focus, close distance, formal balance, and informal balance. My project evolved by me changing the photo I was going to cone as well as the I did another photo for my overlay. I believe that my cloning image could be stronger if the edges of the items I lassoued were more blurred to match the rest of the image.
