Artist Statement
Throughout the year I struggled in Foundations of Art because little did I know when I enrolled in Foundations of Art that is was going to be one of the hardest classes I had enrolled in my Freshman year. This is not because the class itself is difficult but because I was not dedicated enough to take the time to finish my art work. If someone is going to take Foundations of Art because they are not dedicated and are not going to make some changes and adjust they are going to be digging themselves a hole. Somethings I struggled with throughout the year were the deadlines and due dates because I always wanted to add the most detail that I could. This would result in me not even turning in the work because it was not done. I believe if anyone's takes this class with improve as an artist whether or not they do well in the class because though the year you learn new ways to do things and better ways to do things. I enjoy creating art because it is a way to express myself through imagery and it can often be something beautiful because it tells a story that is hidden in it.
