About me

My name is Rachel Wall. I was born in Sacramento, California and moved here when I was 5 years old. I am the middle child. I have an older sisters named Jessica and younger brother named Cody. In my household we speak english. In five years, I want to be in college and have graduated high school. I don't know of anyone who has gone to college for art but I know of people who have a passion for art and create art in their free time. I am most proud of my sports accomplishments and my families accomplishments. In my free time I enjoy playing sports especially soccer and basketball. I enrolled in this course because I enjoy art and photography and I enjoy looking at photographs. My ideal job would be something that involve science of some sort because that is my best subject and i enjoy it. Three adjectives that others might use to describe me are...outgoing, supportive, and funny/goofy.

Corey Arnold

Dirty Birds, 2017

I like this because the photo looks graceful, smooth, and peaceful. Its also a really beautiful location.

Katherine Newbegin

Croatia, Date unknown

I like this photo because it really sends a message across, from the bottle caps on the ground with the animal on the book. I also really love animals so this stood out to me a lot.

Yoshitomo Nara

Sakhalin, 2014

I like this photo because the waves are super pretty. The white in the water is bold in one area and spreads out in the picture which made the image come alive for me. It just really stuck out when i was scrolling through the pictures.

This piece really stuck out to me, because it appears to be a picture of a piece of art. In the piece you can see little parts that almost seem identical but their are slight differences. This is what I noticed first and it was a cool effect that parts looked identical and parts were completely abstract.

Robert Adams

This photograph really stood out because of the black and white filter. It makes the lights in the image pop out and makes everything seem so much more focused and crisp.
