Artist Inspired Presentation

Artist Statement: For this assignment, we were tasked with taking photos inspired by the photographers we did our research papers on. I chose to research Peter Belanger and Colleen Plumb. The first inspired photo on my site is inspired by Peter's doughnut photography. I decided to buy some doughnuts and take a picture that showcases the beauty of them, as Peter does in his photos. The photo was not edited because I wanted the natural color and lighting that the real world shined on them. The second inspired photo was done after my research of Colleen Plumb's photography. She does a lot of nature photos and I was inspired to do the same. I took a picture of the snow outside our school and used many photo styles within. Such as leading lines, rule of thirds, and framing. I tried to capture the same style of what her nature photos show.
