Artist Statement:

The negative space leaf drawing is supposed to represent the negative space of the leafs, however, the way that I organized it caused it to be in the shape that it is. I used pencil, oil pastels, and a blending pen to create the leaf colors. It started out as going to be a design but if I did it that way it would be hard to determine what the art actually is about. If I were to fix or add anything, I would add finer edges and use more color.
