This assignment was about documenting real-life things we see. I took this picture of a piece of trash from a gas station sitting in the woods by a stream near my home. I had trouble focusing the camera on the trash in the background and not the sticks in front. I chose to have the sticks in front of the camera but not in focus to show that the trash was in the woods, but not the key subject of the image. I think the finished product is pretty good. It's not perfect, since it's a little too dark, but overall I like the concept I came up with and I like how the image came out.
