How you ever wondered, how Mario & Luigi glides easily on a curved path? In year 9, students will learn about Trigonometry and its applications in real life, like how musical notes relates to Maths. They will also learn how to calculate the gradient of a ramp when learning Algebra. In this semester, you will undertake tasks in Algebra, Geometry- Trigonometry and Statistics.

Students will understand the rules of probability to increase your odds of winning or losing in a game.
In this semester, students will undertake tasks in Measurement – Pythagoras Theorem, Number and Statistics.

MA 23 Advanced Maths or Pre-Calculus Elective

Are you interested in pursuing careers like Engineering, Medicine, Economics or Computers and information Science? You should think about doing this advanced course in MATHS.

In this semester subject, topics like Solving Algebraic and Quadratic Graphs & equations, Trigonometry and the Unit Circle and Surds.

This elective is available for students who display outstanding attitude to work in MATHS and has excellent Mathematical skills.
