Students will be given 20 minutes to prepare and 35 minutes to write both a thesis paragraph and ONE supporting body paragraph. The body paragraph should utilize at least ONE DBQ document along with at least ONE piece of specific outside evidence beyond the docs.

Your SAQ will be graded using the following standard:

- Summary of the document, including extended HIPP analysis. Be sure to indicate which document you are using (list the # in parenthesis)
- Proving ONE example of outside evidence NOT already provided but still related to the document.
- Explaining how and why the information of your DBQ document AND your outside evidence relate to the argument from your thesis paragraph above.

- Providing background/context to the question, which includes historically specific evidence and an explanation of the connection to the topic of the prompt (1-2 SENTENCES)
- Providing a historically defensible argument which addresses the prompt.
